Every time I hear them I want to sing along with them. There were lights that looked like lasers, and they were all over the walls. They also had flames on the stage, and they sprayed foam at the audience. The best part of the concert was when they came out, and everyone started screaming really loud. I went to the Jonas Brothers concert last night, and it was so cool! My favorite song they sang was Burnin' Up. and doesn't end until nearly 11 p.m., with three amazing acts, an encore and Simon Says! Where else can you get all this? Nowhere but from the Jonas Brothers! Yes, we are huge fans of Demi, and we thought the Veronicas were fantastic, but couldn't their combined time have been maybe 20-30 minutes shorter?īut for all-around entertainment, you definitely get a huge bang for your buck! A concert that starts at 7 p.m. The only thing that made me upset was that we had to wait two hours into the concert to see the Jonas Brothers perform. I don't think that's fair to Kevin because there is something amazing about each of the Jonas Brothers, and Kevin is lovable, too! (I love his laugh in That's Just the Way We Roll!!) From all the text messages, it seemed that most people loved either Nick or Joe the most. The stagehands must have thought we were off our rockers. "Simon" had us scream, cluck like chickens, bark like dogs, raise the roof and other crazy things. After Demi's (Lovato) act, someone texted the idea that we play Simon Says. Nick then brought out "the largest drumstick this audience has ever seen" - one of those drumsticks that people use to play the bass drum - and threw it across to Jack! It was incredible that he caught every drumstick that was thrown at him while he kept on playing!!īetween acts, there were text boards beside the stage where you could text messages and have them appear on the screen. While they were both drumming, they started tossing drumsticks to each other, around the stage, to Joe at the bottom of the multi-level stage and back up to the top without missing a beat! The drum-off between Nick and their drummer, Jack, was totally cool. Then Nick pushed off Joe's hands and did a back flip higher than Joe's head!! Later he did a series of front and back flips down the runway jutting out from the stage!! It really was like angels from above.Īt one point Nick did all kinds of amazing flips and jumps (with Joe's assistance)! Nick was standing, and he put one of his feet into Joe's cupped hands. In Hello Beautiful, each of the Jonas Brothers stepped onto his own circular platform that rose up to almost the top of the stage and sang from there. Their songs really inspired her to just get up and not to forget life still goes on. When one of us went through some tough times this year, she holed up in her room listening to songs like Hold On. We can relate to the feelings and really appreciate the meanings in the songs - falling in love, someone breaking your heart and just being yourself. Sorry touches something deep inside, and we cry.Įach song means so much to them because they are written from personal experiences. The way they sing Sorry, with so much passion, you can really feel what they felt when they wrote it. The Jonas Brothers get so into all of their songs, you really hear the emotion in their voices. When the song started playing, we started tearing up, and by the end of the song, and Nick's story, we were in a big group with our new friends bawling our eyes out. Nick made a little speech in the middle of the song saying how he felt when he first was diagnosed and that his diabetes will never slow him down. It means so much to his family because it was such a hard time for them. The best song in the concert was A Little Bit Longer, written by Nick about discovering he has diabetes. Big Rob just has a presence that makes you want to smile! He had this huge smile on his face, and it instantly lit up everyone else's faces and the crowd roared. And Big Rob (the Jonas Brothers' bodyguard) also came out to sing his rap solo. Nick did his incredible, highly anticipated aerial (no-handed cartwheel). Fire shot up from the edges of the stage culminating in the giant "JB" symbol at the top of the stage bursting into flames (it was on purpose). Since this is the "Burnin' Up Tour," Burnin' Up was definitely the most spectacular song. The Jonas Brothers burn up the stage, literally and figuratively! Following are some of those reviews:īy the Wolf Sisters - Morgan, Meagan and Marissa Editor's note: On Wednesday, NOW! asked its young readers who planned to attend the Jonas Brothers' concert Saturday in Nationwide Arena to submit e-mail reviews of the show.
